NHL trade deadline day

The most hectic transaction day in the NHL. I’ll post my thoughts on some of the deals later.. too much going on right now to sit and think about the pros and cons of every little deal.

I wonder how long it will take EA sports to release an updated roster?

Oh wait, they sold a “new” game for 07 that was the 06 game with a shiny new skin… so why would they release an updated roster when they couldn’t even update the player pictures or change goalie colors from their previous team (Miller still with the “backup” mask, Aebischer still in Colorado colors)?

Magic Satchel Night – March edition

Those of you not in the know may be asking yourself “What the @#$ is this magic satchel night?”

Well, it is a night held once a month where we get together and play board games. The games change from one month to the next, but a few have become favorites. three cheers for board games! :)

Anyway, here is the lowdown:

Where: The home of the Amazing Rando. if you don’t know, I ain’t gonna tell you

When: March 24th, 2007 – any time after 7 or 730pm

What to bring: any games you want to play, any rum you feel like drinking, and anything you may want to sleep on.

What not to bring: Liar’s dice, people who think they are too cool to play board games, did I mention Liar’s dice? :P

The night will most likely involve Survive! and Settlers, but it is open to anything else people bring that a group may want to play.

remember our basic rule of thumb… rum + games = fun! :)

Sunset in January

so this here is a picture I took. ain’t it pretty?

blah blah blah, filling space with words.

I like words, they tell me things. things like “it is after midnight” and “dear god will you ever be tired at work tomorrow”
