It’s been a much more productive and enjoyable day today! We’re pretty overloaded by all the amazing buildings though – you’d need a month to explore this city properly. We ate lunch at the base of the Eiffel Tower, took some pics from Trocadero, wandered up to the Arc de Triomphe, stood out front of the REAL Notre Dame, and are now at the Louvre. What a day! I’ll write more when we get back to the hostel

Unfortunately we didn’t end up having enough time to see the Caen Memorial or anything else yesterday before leaving for Paris. Spent 90 mins online trying to find a place to stay, and wasn’t having much luck at all, so we decided to catch an early train and go door to door
