Mr. Kilomantra, this is no desert

I do not like humidity. I should be doing something physical or should be immersed in water for my skin to be wet. This region is considered arid mountainous desert. But I am wet. And I ask for explanation from the pantsless expert.

So tomorrow morning I shall pack up my sleeping yoshirolla and head to Vancouver for the weekend. Where it is supposed to be sticky because it always is.

Al, Josh, Scott, we should do our own mini T/P/L (or whatever it’s called) on Monday. Everyone take a photo or two on Canada day, and we can bundle ‘em here.

Not near as cool as the big one but whatdya do?

You become an pantsless expert, like our friend Mr. Kilomantra, maker of fine down-filled yoshirolla’s, perfect to keep you wet even when you should be dry.

Oh, and i think it may be time for some new header images? Who’s up to the task? I hope someone is or I might have to start swapping out those image with really inappropriate photos. Or I might even go so far as to add “Icecubes” to the ORG.

  1. you wouldn’t dare…. that is like the noodle incident in Calvin and Hobbes, and we must never speak of it again. Any suggestions for photos, or should I just pick what I want out of my minor collection?

as for the rest of your yoshiranting kilobabble:

I would be in for a Magic Satchel p/d/p Canada Day extravaganza. p = picture, d = date (canada day), place = wherever you is. since certain people don’t read this because they are “busy”, I’ll pass the word. Jon _ care to add an international flavor?

I too dislike humidity (it was 100% here this morning, the air was like soup, and not good soup either) and wish it would stay in Vancouver where it belongs.

  2. i was thinking Time Picture Location but knew i was wrong.

i will p/d/p with you then!

and i hope jon does join in, that would be an awesome touch!

  3. hmmm I could probably swing you something international. I went for a drive today just south of town and it was pretty awesome, Carcasonne is only about 45min from here, but so far I haven’t had time to get there. Soon though, soon…

  4. So how does this p/d/p thing work then?
I’ve posted some Canada day pictures on my own site, along with a bit of a story.. .it’s not terribly patriotic but it’ll have to do won’t it?

  5. well, I think the plan is / was to post up our pictures on Canada day, so we can “borrow” one of yours and link back to your great story about the wall and the ghost town France becomes on a Sunday. :)

I should have my stuff up… in about an hour I would guess.

Dave, Scott.. did you take any pictures?

  6. i only actually took one on Canada day proper. and i will get it up after work tonight.
got a few more from the weekend in and around Kitsilano.

    d

  7. We can’t find our camera right now.
Otherwise we’d have some sort of Calaway park picture.
That is how p/d/c we are.
That would be pretty darn cool.

    But wait!
A instant camera was used be Sera’s cousin! I will investigate!
