Generally these are games that can be finished in around an hour, are easy to learn, have a fairly broad appeal, and don't involve so much strategy that they paralyze a player for a half an hour trying to decide what they feel is the fate of the game each and every turn. I checked almost every game I own, and they all fit the requirement... except for hungry hungry hippos. that dang game could go forever! :D That being said, I am all for a non-satchel gathering where LOTR risk, Axis and Allies (I really want to try one of the "smaller" games, like D-day), or this WoW game get a good seeing to. I just don't see it working on a Satchel night, when I find massive group interaction and changing games 3 or 4 times in a night are the most fun I've had.
