Picture / date / place is upon us once again, and fortunately for all you lazy types it isn’t at some ungodly hour where you have an excuse that you need to be sleeping.

8am MST, July 14, 2007.

Take a picture of whatever you want in black and white (or use photoshop to convert it afterwards) and if you are part of the ORG put it in your profile and then add it to the project, and if not put it somewheres where I can get at it and send me the link.

I wonder if color hilight pictures are allowed? hmmm.

24 Hours of Adrenalin

You know those points in your life where you aren’t sure about what you are getting yourself in to (into? my brain wants to tell me I’m wrong here..)? You ask yourself Will I have fun? Will I get hurt? Will I do well? Will the others on the track be ultra competitive or laid back?

All of this was running through my head as I drove out to Canmore on Saturday morning to participate in my first ever mountain bike race, the 24 hours of Adrenalin.

I have to say that watching the LeMans start (which consisted of all the ultra fit hardcore racers) didn’t put my mind at ease at all.

Fighting this afernoon with some sIFR text that insisted on being on top of an floating div, I stumbled across a nice simple solution by Andrew Chudd.

So if you ever need to layer something over your Flash remember it’s as simple as wmode: opaque.
