Round 2 begins September 10 (with a possible boat placement email on the 9th so we can have the first turn on the 10th). I will do all the prep work for it so that it will “hopefully” launch smoothly.

I gotta say I am almost as excited about the upcoming Survive! game as I am about the upcoming NHL season.

I need the 4 participants to pick a number between 1 and 4 (for color assignment). first come, first served.
The board is all set up and ready to roll, so all I need is to tell people what color they are and then I can send out a pre-game email with the first picture for boat placement and clear up any sort of questions people may have ahead of time.

The number I pick is yellow. (also known as 3).
I will pick orange, purple, teal, red, maroon, then periwinkle in that order.
Of course those are numbers 2, 1, 4, 7, 5, and 6 in that order.

well, to tally the votes in a central location, I have (in the order they were received):
Jon with a 2
Dave with “yellow” or 3
Josh with 2, 3, 4, 1 (meaning he would get 4)
and Scott with a bunch of jackassery that got him the number 1 color.
I find it interesting that 3 of the 4 people put #2 as their top pick.
My random assignment of numbers to colors revealed:
1 Orange – Scott
2 Purple – Jon
3 Red – Dave
4 Yellow – Josh
an email with the board will be sent out so you guys can do boat placement (likely tonight or tomorrow morning after our ticket draft). I’d suggest Jon Dave and Josh give me a few alternates as I just decided the number order also determined who places boats first, and thus the order of play for each round.
